August 31, 2015: This coming Labor Day weekend (9/5-7), I will be showing ten paintings in the Montgomery Artist Association (MAA) Annual Kensington “Paint the Town” Art Exhibition. My entry is one of more than 120 artists in what will be a major and very popular show. The ten pictures are a mix of abstracts, landscapes, still life, and portraits. Please come to the reception Saturday evening. You won’t regret it..
Since I just finished the following painting yesterday, it was too late to enter it in the Kensington Show. I’m planning to enter it in the next BWS annual show. It is the third in a series of paintings that I have done where the subject is wild animals and the titles of the paintings are 1940’s comedy teams. The two prior pictures, “Dean and Jerry” (rhinoceros) , and “Larry, Curly, and Moe” (crocodiles), were displayed here last year. This one is called “Chico, Zeppo, Harpo, and Groucho”. Enjoy.
