The Kentlands Mansion show has been running nearly two months now and ends at the end of November. The reception for the Kentlands show was very disappointing. I think it was poorly advertised and, as a result, had poor attendance. My last time showing work there! But some good news is that someone who saw the show has asked me to exhibit the same group of Creative Reaction paintings in the lobby of H Street Playhouse (http://www.hstreetplayhouse.com/), starting with their opening of the show Black Nativity on December 6th. This will be my first venue in DC and hopefully someone there will see my stuff there and lead to more exposure.
Here are a few more of the Creative Reaction pieces from the exhibition.

I’m planning to teach a number of new studio art classes (watercolor, drawing, and portraits) in 2012. See my Classes web page for more information. I’m also very excited about a new Art Analysis and Appreciation lecture class that I’m tentatively planning for in February 2012 (for Montgomery College at the Takoma Park campus). When I know more about all of these classes, I’ll be sure to post information on my Classes web page.
